John Swanson

In 1995, John sold his farm in Canby, Oregon and used the proceeds to buy two buildings. Since then, he has slowly grown the business. John isn't your typical apartment owner. He lives in a small home off Mississippi Avenue and you can often find him helping out with renovation and maintenance work. John speaks Spanish, French and some Mandarin. He enjoys meditating, riding his bike and traveling.

If you have a beautifully renovated apartment, it is all due to Max's expertise! If you have a maintenance request, he will tackle it within 24 hours. All of our residents know Max and appreciate his friendly and hardworking demeanor. Erica Indira

Property Manager

Erica has been watching her father John, manage apartment buildings since she was a young girl. After moving back to Portland from a few years abroad, she dove into the business and has loved it ever since. Beyond work, she enjoys traveling, Crossfit, walking her dog Ponyo, drinking tea, practicing yoga, cooking, and learning new languages. She speaks Mandarin, Spanish and French.

Ashley Major

Leasing Specialist

Ashley is the newest addition to the Little Beirut Properties crew. We feel so lucky to have her on our team. Hailing from Toronto, Ashley recently made the move, via Richmond, VA, to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Having grown up with a realtor Mom, she gained most of her experience watching her mother buy and lease homes. When not showing apartments for Little Beirut Properties, Ashley is practicing yoga, killing it at Crossfit, or going on a run around NE. Ashley has a B.A in both English Literature and Women's Studies, and a minor in French Literature.

Living here has been a wonderful experience, I couldn’t ask for better neighbors. Also, you and your father have been, without hyperbole, probably the best landlords I’ve had. And I’ll definitely miss the pool. Certainly hope to be invited back for any future shindigs!
